Greetings to all from Germany in the precious name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming Mission Council 2026.
The event will take place from May 6 to 9, 2026 in Norderstedt (nearby Hamburg), Germany.
The theme of the conference is “The God who provides!” We are delighted to welcome Kehinde Ojo from Nigeria as a guest speaker at our event. He is the Programme Director for Indigenous Support Development at the International Fellowship of Evangelical Students (IFES). See here
He will accompany our Council, demonstrating the mercy of our God, who provides, and our responsibility arising from our faith. There will be plenty of time to share our experiences and ideas on managing our resources.

Conference fee:
The conference fee is 250,- euros. More information you will find here.
Accommodation:
Our host is offering some private accommodation. However, please note that these are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
All other participants are requested to book and pay for their own accommodation.
We have reserved a block of rooms for you at the Best Western Hotel Schmöker-Hof in Norderstedt. You can book and pay directly by credit card by providing an EBMI code. Please note that this reservation deadline is 8 March 2026. After this date, our block of rooms will expire and we will not be able to reserve any more rooms. You can find all the relevant information under the menu item “further information/documents-Accommodation".
Registration, Nomination, Reports, Visa:
In the box on the right, you will see the menu item registration form for register. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email. The registration deadline for all participants is February 15, 2026.
We also request that the leaders of our member unions fill in the nomination form. You will also find a list showing how many delegates each member union can send.
Furthermore, we request that the leaders of our member unions send us their 2025 reports in good time for inclusion in the report book. The deadline for these reports is 15 February 2026. Guidelines for reports can be found under the Reportbook menu item.
If you need a visa, you will find all the necessary information in the visa guidelines.
All other important information, such as the venue address, directions, excursions, the report book and the updated programme, can be found on the right under “further information/documents”. Please read this information carefully, as it contains important details.
Translation:
We will be using the LiveVoice translation system for translation. This system works via an app on your mobile phone. We will give you details on how to download the app during the conference.
To use this translation service, you have to bring the following with you:
- a functioning and internet-enabled smartphone (company-independent, but it must be a smartphone)
- Headphones compatible with your smartphone
We will NOT provide headphones in Norderstedt, as many mobile phones require different headphone inputs. Everyone must bring their own headphones!
Moreover, elections to the Executive Committee will be held, as the terms of five EC members are coming to an end. In this regard, the candidate committee sent a letter to all EBM INTERNATIONAL member unions in mid-November this year.
