Signs of Hope – Baptist Diaconia in Hamburg
We are able to offer you three excursions. Please select only one option on the registration form.
- Visit to the Jesus Center in the world-famous Hamburg district of St. Pauli. We visit a center for social work in the heart of St. Pauli. There, we hear about God's work in ministry with the homeless, refugees, and other people in need. The visit is rounded off with a walk through the neighborhood.
- Visit to the Albertinen Diaconal Organization in Hamburg-Schnelsen. Under the guidance of retired Pastor Prof. Dr. Stefan Stiegler, we gain insight into one of Hamburg’s largest hospitals and the history of the diaconal organization.
- Alster Boat Tour (for up to 60 people). An approximately one-hour boat ride on the Alster. The river resembles a lake and is located in the middle of Hamburg’s city center. The tour invites you to explore the Hamburg skyline from a boat. Afterwards, there is an opportunity to continue exploring the city on foot (independently).
As we will be travelling by public transport to the three different excursions, you will need a day ticket, which costs around €10. Our hosts will help you with the booking in Norderstedt. Please bring enough cash with you for paying your ticket. We are unable to pay for tickets in advance!
