Which Embassy you have to address?
You must apply for your visa at the embassy of the country in Europe where you will be staying the longest. For example, if you are staying in France for 5 days but then plan to visit another European country for a further 10 days, you must apply for your visa at the embassy of the country where you will be spending most of your time. If you are only coming to the MC in Germany, you must apply for your visa at the German embassy in your country.
Note the LONG WAITING TIME for getting an appointment!
In most of the countries, the Embassies give appointments for the visa application only via internet. Please take note that the procedure for visa application requires that you personally register for an appointment on the embassy’s homepage. Please do this already at the beginning of the year as many embassies have a waiting time of 12 to 16 weeks.
We as EBM INTERNATIONAL cannot influence this procedure by calling or writing to the embassy. They are very strict and follow their rules without exemption. You will altogether in some countries need more than three months for getting the visa. We can only provide the necessary invitation letter. To get an appointment and to do the application is your responsibility.
For your appointment at the embassy and your stay in Europe, you will need a letter of invitation and proof of international health insurance. Please ensure that you have international health insurance (which you must take out yourself).
Furthermore, you have to take your passport and your flight ticket and maybe some other documents (to find out by yourself).
What does EBM INTERNATIONAL need for your visa application?
The enclosed filled in Registration form as well as a copy of your passport should be sent to the Mission Office in Elstal, Germany (
Without the above mentioned documents we will not be in the position to provide you with the necessary invitation letter.
Please check if your Embassy needs the original invitation letter for your application and let us know by email so that we can send them to your address (also indicated in your email).
